Banana and peanut butter smoothie

Banana and peanut butter smoothie

Fellow parents of picky eaters, this one's for you.

If you are looking for a nutritious breakfast that your child will actually eat, try this delicious smoothie!

Ingredients:

- 1 frozen banana, chopped into small pieces (I usually slice a few bananas at the beginning of the week and store them in a container in the freezer, ready to go)

- 1 heaped tablespoon peanut butter (no added sugar or additives, e.g. Pics, Mayvers)

- 1 medjool date (or a dash of pure maple syrup if you don't have any dates)

- 1 cup milk of choice (adjust to desired consistency)

Method:

Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

To give the smoothie a nutrient boost, try adding a tablespoon of chia or hemp seeds.

My son has been asking for this smoothie every morning for the past two weeks. I hope it is popular in your house too!
