Energy-boosting smoothie

Start your day the right way with this healthy and delicious smoothie.

It is packed with protein, fibre and healthy fats to provide sustained energy and keep you going until lunchtime!

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana

Small handful of spinach leaves

1/2 cup frozen pineapple or mango

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1/4 small avocado

1/4 cup cashew nuts

1/4 tspn spirulina powder (optional)

1 medjool date (pitted) for sweetness, if required

Filtered water (to desired consistency)

Method:

Process all ingredients in a blender until desired consistency.
