Want to know what your blood test results really say about your current state of health?

Affordable, detailed blood test analysis to give you a clearer picture of your current state of health

Have you ever been told that your blood test results are “normal” but you know something is not quite right?

Pathology analysis is something I do regularly for clients and it is an invaluable part of the clinical assessment process. It is amazing how much you can learn about a person’s state of health from their blood!

Nutritionists and naturopaths use “optimal” ranges to interpret blood tests, whereas medical practitioners use standard (“normal”) reference ranges, which are statistical averages based on the general population. The problem with this is that the “average” population also includes unhealthy people so the results are not necessarily indicative of optimal health and reduced risk of disease.

What kind of things can you find out by comparing a person’s blood results with optimal ranges?

  • A higher than optimal red blood cell count, haemoglobin level and haematocrit are all signs of dehydration

  • A low white blood cell count isn’t just associated with reduced immunity. It can also indicate chronic inflammation, chronic infection or deficiencies in the nutrients needed to make white blood cells (zinc, protein, B12 and folate)

  • Lower than optimal total protein levels do not just reflect a lack of protein in the diet. They can also indicate low stomach acid, digestive dysfunction or inflammation, and liver problems.

These are just a few examples of some of the common findings I see in my clients’ blood results.

Pathology analysis is available at Nourish To Thrive Family Nutrition as a stand-alone service, which means that you don’t need to book in for a consultation.

For $60, your results will be analysed in relation to the optimal ranges and you will be provided with a detailed summary, including suggestions to correct any deficiencies or excesses through diet or supplements.
